The uvula is that little piece of flesh that hangs at the
back
of your
mouth.
Some people (such as one of my students) have a split
uvula
medically known as a
"bifurcated" uvula. It caused many times by the
soft palette
not completely fusing
during embryonic development.

Eye color is truly a polygenetic event. In the case of
one of my
students, his right eye is brown and his left eye
is
blue. It’s important to remember that
individual cells have
their own
DNA that help determine ones trait.
