Stand Up and Be Counted

It is with great interest that I read the votes in the Maine Right to Life paper last month. It is with deep sadness that I see so many of
you caving in to the pressure of the anti-life groups who are misrepresenting facts and figures to gain their own ends, entirely unsympathetic to the plight of women and, obviously, the murder of unborn children.
When will it be politically correct to stand up for right no matter how much or how long you have to go against the grain of the 'pro-murder of
the unborn' people you have been listening to?
I know that you can think for yourselves, and I urge you to educate yourselves to learn about what abortion has done to us as a people, a
nation, and a state since 1973. Have you ever thought about what 1.5 million lives x 28 years could have done to replace those "help-wanted" signs so prominent across the USA? Have you ever thought about the agony of those 42 million unborn babies as their lives were snuffed out? Have you ever really thought about the post-abortion trauma that each of the mothers has gone through? Have you ever thought about where our country could be right now if 42 million babies had been allowed to see the light of day and choose for themselves what they would do with their lives?
God help us as a people, a nation, and a state, to come to our senses and stop being politically incorrect.
